My wife’s Windows machine is back up and running (yeah!). I picked up a Hitachi disk, and got a 50% increase in storage space. The 60 GB disk only cost ~$75 with taxes.
The original OS disks predate SP1. When the updates ocurred, it seemed to me that I should have gotten the update to SP2 straight awy; however, that was the 2nd or 3rd update. When I’ve installed Linux systems, it only took one update to get all the OS files and the applications up-to-date. Guess why I prefer Linux?
